Transgender Identity Is Not Real
There is no such thing as Transgender Identity! It seems ridiculous to have to say this, but it aptly describes the evil times in which we live. Transgender identity is a fictitious description that is right up there with leprechauns, fairies, and unicorns. It does not exist. How do we know transgender identity is not real? In this article information will be presented that proves transgender identity is not real.
Before we delve into the information disproving transgender identity, let's make sure we understand the definition of transgender identity. Transgender identity is simply defined as "of or relating to a person who wants to belong to the opposite sex." Basically, transgender identity means that a person is born to one sex biologically and physiologically but desires to be the opposite sex instead. A person may be born a man but somewhere along the way he decides or wants to become a woman, so people now label them as having a transgender identity. Let's be clear, just because someone desires to be something does not mean it is possible. And, just because someone desires to be something he cannot be, does not mean giving that false idea a label makes it any more possible. Let me illustrate. Just because a young child wants to be Superman does not mean he actually is or can be Superman. He may dress up in a blue suit and a red cape and pretend to be Superman, but that does not really make him a Superhero named Superman. Why not? Because being Superman is a fantasy and not humanly possible. The same is true with the transgender movement. The idea of being transgender is a fantasy and not humanly possible. Notice the following factual evidence that proves the transgender movement is not real.
Biology proves that transgender identity is not real. Let's say that a teenage boy decides one day that he would like to be a girl. He starts dressing as a girl, talking like a girl, and to the best of his ability, acting like a girl. Does that then make him a girl? Of course not! How do we know? Physiologically he is still a boy. We look at his 23rd pair of chromosomes and he still has an X and a Y chromosome. The Y chromosome does not lie. Although he pretended to dress, talk and act like a girl, the Y chromosome demands he is still a boy. Then, we look a little further into this boy's physiology and determine that his sex hormones and external reproductive anatomy undeniably places him in the category of male. The physiology does not lie, like it or not, he is still a boy.
Oftentimes in addressing the idea of transgender identity, people will say we agree with all that you have said about sex, but sex and gender are not the same. By this they mean a person's sex may determine they are a male, but their gender choice makes them a female. This has to be one of the most ridiculous ideas to ever be spawned. To say that one's gender, which Webster defines as “the state of being male or female”, can somehow be different than one's sex makes absolutely no sense. Gender and Sex are not two different ideas. Sex determines gender and they are dependent upon each other. If you are born with a Y chromosome and male anatomy, your sex and gender is male. If you are born with two X chromosomes and female reproductive organs, your sex and gender is female. Whatever you are in sex, you also are in gender. Don't be deceived into thinking these are two different ideas. Society may want to redefine these terms, but let's not be so naïve on such a simple issue.
Not only does physiology prove transgender identity is not real, but the Scriptures also prove it is not real or right. God says, "A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God" Deuteronomy 22:5). The fact that God created men with distinct male organs and distinct masculine functions and women with distinct female organs and distinct feminine functions proves that sex and gender go hand in hand (Genesis 1:27; Deuteronomy 23:1; Ephesians 5:22-33; 1 Timothy 2:12-14). The Scripture says, "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" (Genesis 1:27). When God created Adam and Eve, He did not have to ask them if they were happy or comfortable with their gender. God never asked Adam or Eve about their sexual orientation or gender classification. Being created male and female naturally determined their gender. Please understand that the Word of God makes no distinction between sex and gender. With the Scriptures and a little common sense, one can determine their sex and gender are the same.
It may be popular in our evil culture to talk about transgender identity, to have the discussion about transgender restrooms, to listen to political pundits and politicians discuss their views on this idea, but what really matters is, "Is There Any Word From the Lord?" (Jeremiah 37:17). Friend, God has spoken through his created laws of physiology and through His Word to clearly say the idea of transgender identity is both bogus and sinful. Let's allow the Word of God be our final say and do away with the bogus idea of someone actually being transgender. Let's stop calling transgender identity an orientation and identify it for what it really is: a sinful, wicked, and evil behavior and that mocks the beauty of God's creative choices. – The Gospel Of Christ Newsletter, May, 2016
